Include U-PIC or Third-Party Insurance

U-PIC is a third-party insurance provider. U-PIC provides insurance with no forms or additional documentation on all domestic and international items. You must sign up for U-PIC insurance before you can use U-PIC insurance. For more information or to sign up for U-PIC Insurance, see the U-PIC website.

IMPORTANT! If you are using U-PIC or third-party insurance, do not select the insurance option on the Insured Mail tab. Instead, select the insurance provider and enter the value of the item in the Print dialog box.

The following steps describe how to add U-PIC or third-party insurance on your mailpiece from the Design tab or the Address Book tab, which you should do when you are ready to print.

Steps

Display your layout file, and prepare it for printing, such as selecting or entering the mailing address, mail class, or additional services.
From either the Design tab or the Address Book tab, select File > Print.
Select 3rd Party.
In the Value field, enter the insurance value.
Complete all other fields that you require for printing.
